Things to do - We're a family run business and happy to welcome children of all ages.
We can provide cots and high-chairs. Edinburgh's a great place for children - the are things to do for all sorts of interests (and budgets) - from the very active - lots of sports facilities and swimming pools - to the indoors' interests - several great museums and the Dynamic Earth building. Lots of these are tons of fun for the not so young, as well - so you can be sure of plenty to do - even on wet days.

Want to go somewhere amazing? A fabulous view for a romantic gesture, perhaps?
Can we help you with a restaurant reservation or a recommendation - naturally this is only our opinion - but there are some fabulous places to eat out in the city - and some rather different ones! Please ask, we're happy to help.
Out of town trips
There are lots of places within a day's drive of Edinburgh. Scotland is a small place and even an hour away the countyside is very different - still beautiful, mind.
Watch this space for a list of detailed suggestions, but here's some starters - Glasgow - vibrant, lively, very different feel from Edinburgh. Lots of musuems, galleries, churches, shops -around 1 hours in the train or 50 miles drive. The East Lothian coast - beautiful beaches, great walks, fabulous views - drive down through the villages of Dirleton and Aberlady, or take the train to North Berwick. (Around 1 hour).
